Nostalgia.

Nostalgia is bad. Nostalgia gets you down, makes you stiff. Makes you lax about the future. Yet, sometimes, on those rare occassions when we are on the rocks and we give into nostalgia's pull, I think we realize that we are confronted with who we were.
